| Short Cut Virus change your files & folders into shortcut |
Having hard time when your files or folders go missing? If you did not format your flash drive, then check whether the files are not in hidden mode. Follow the following steps.
Step 1:
Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator"
Autorun Exterminator 1.8
Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" --> Plug your flash drive now.
This will remove the autorun.inf files from your flash drive and also from drives.
Step 2 :
Option 1:
(For Beginner User)
Click on the below link and download the file "Repair Lost Files & Folder"
Repair Lost Files & Folder 1.1
Note: Repair Lost Files & Folder is a software that repair attributes of files or folder which are damaged by a virus that change into short-cut and set it into super hidden (cannot see in "Show hidden files, folders & drives") in your Flash Drive.

| Copy "Repair Lost Files & Folder V1.1.exe" into your Flash Drive |
Note :
- This tool ONLY can be running in REMOVEABLE DISK! Running this tool in SYSTEM DISK will cause data corruption (CAREFUL!)
- To run this tool safely, COPY "Lost Files & Folder Repair.exe" and PASTE in REMOVEABLE DISK that contain your lost folder.
Option 2:
(For Advance User ONLY)
Click on "Start" -->Run --> type cmd and click on OK. Here I assume your flash drive letter as G:
Enter this command.
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and paste it.
Note : Don't forget to replace the letter g with your flash drive letter.
Now press "Enter".
Now check for your files in Flash Drive.
